Clark Engineering Offices Move to New Lebanon Landmark
Clark Engineering & Surveying, P.C. has moved their offices to 20 Shaker Road, off Route 20 and 22 in New Lebanon, NY. Established in 1986, Clark Engineering has built a reputation for high quality civil engineering and land surveying services throughout New York and Massachusetts. Clark Engineering designs and manages new construction and upgrades for many municipalities and schools throughout the area. |

Their new offices will provide much needed additional space for Clark. They are housed in a circa 1850 stone building that was once part of the Tilden Pharmaceutical Company. It is believed that the building was constructed by the same mason and using stone from the same quarry, as the Great Stone Barn at the Mount Lebanon Shaker Village. |
| Completely renovated, the historic building provides the firm with a 21st century infrastructure while preserving features typically found in Shaker construction. Well known in the community, the building sits on a 5.6 acre site surrounded by expansive lawns, a large pond and ringed with mature evergreens. The new site is a perfect setting for this innovative engineering firm and mirrors their commitment to excellence and respect for the environment. |
Ann Clark, president of the firm, noted recently, "People in the community seem very excited, and curious, about what we've done inside the building."
Sharp Builders, of Stephentown, is the general contractor for the project. "This project, and preservation of the historic structure, presented some unusual challenges. We couldn't have completed it without the talents and efforts of Gary Sharp. His crew, and his subcontractors, have all done a first class job," Clark said. She also expressed appreciation to Darren Kidney of D&J Construction for the efficient site work.

many things have changed since we opened our doors, our commitment to
quality has remained constant.

We've added MicroStation
and Inroads Software and have completed training and survey mapping for
a NYSDOT project.

Survey Crew Field
Personnel - Survey and/or CADD experience is a plus.
CADD Operator
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is required. Previous experience
with site/civil projects a plus.
Design Engineer
- Civil or Civil Tech engineering graduate desired.
